Born in the city of Beloit, Wisconsin, Patrick started racing when she was only ten years old. After attaining both regional and national success through her teen years, she decided to drop out of school in order to pursue a career in racing full-time. She had to travel to the UK where she came in 2nd at the 2000 Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch. That was the best-ever finish for a US citizen at the time. Later, she returned back home and participated in her very first NTT IndyCar Series event. Since then, all she did is win titles, break records, and prove that no matter who you are or where you come from, you can still make it if you work hard enough.
