Gal Gadot was born in the city of Petah Tikva on the 30th of April, 1985, to a middle-class Israeli family, born to an engineer and educator, she had a very average life growing up. She majored in law and international relations at college and after her graduation she spent two years of service in the Israel Defense Forces which was a requirement for all graduates in the country, joining as a combat instructor. Upon coming of age, she wanted to explore opportunities and entered the Miss Israel competition which she won with her stunning beauty and grace. It brought her fame and recognition and she was established as a top model in Israel, taking on several campaigns for major brands which included Gucci’s fragrance, Captain Morgan’s rum, Vine and Jaguar. Her debut in television was in the drama ‘Bubot’, which she featured in. Her first major role was in the racing movie ‘Fast & Furious’. A fresh addition to the ensemble cast in the fourth sequel which garnered her international recognition. In 2016 she was cast as ‘Wonder Woman’ in the DC extended universe movie ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’. Her portrayal of the heroin was praised by critics which motivated the studio to make a standalone film in 2017.
