A stunning addition to the list of women in TV and movies. She was born on the 2nd of June, 1979 in Rio Brazil, to Fernando and Vera Baccarin. They decided to move to New York when she was 10 years old. She grew up around the west side of New York, schooling there before later joining the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts, finishing and heading to the prestigious Juilliard to finish her course on theatre.
After finishing college, she went for numerous auditions before getting a role in the fashion-inspired comedy ‘Perfume’. She was chosen to play the lead in ‘Way Off Broadway’, going on to feature in the popular TV series was ‘Firefly’ as Inara Serra a high-society courtesan to the rich and wealthy. She is famously known for her starring roles in ‘Serenity’, and two different ‘Stargate’ films. In 2019 she played the love interest of Ryan Reynolds in ‘Deadpool’, and for the eloquent portrayal of Dr Lee Thompkins in Gotham series. Her talent has attracted a considerable following on social media and has earned her a good fortune as well.
