After graduating from school her mom talked her into participating in the Miss India pageantry which she finished as the first runner up, pressing forward to secure the Miss World crown. She made her first appearance in the movie industry as the main character in the movie ‘The Hero: Love Story of a Spy’ she received a resounding commendation for the eloquent portrayal of her part in the movie ‘Aitraaz’. She was approached by a prominent TV station to play the main character in the fan-favorite series ‘Quantico’, using the success she got from the show and was set up as a prominent actress in Hollywood, also starring as the antagonist in the film adaptation of ‘Baywatch’ getting a lot of acclaim when she became the first South Asian performer leading an American television show. During the time of the series premiere, most people had no clue she was a media sensation in her home country.
She had a successful modelling career using recognition gotten from winning the Miss World pageant, she graced major runways and represented various brands.
